I've worked for various companies since then. Currently, I'm a Senior Technical Account Manager for Premio,

a degree in Computer Science. A coincidence? Or some strange cosmic fate?

I try to read at least one
or two novel per week. So I thought I'll provide a mini-review of each
book; you'd be disappointed if you're looking for in-depth reviews.
Sometimes I skip around in novels and read just the good stuff. Let's face
it, even the best novel can be edited down in size without losing the plot
or structure. (No, I'm not the kind of person who first turns to the last
page of a mystery novel.) To check out the reviews, jump to my Book Review Corner.
For those who are curious
about my employment background, you can check out my resumé. I will always
remember this saying (paraphrased from Mark Twain): "Never let school get in the way of your
education." I'd say 90% of the
things I've learned about computers isn't from college. But one of the
most important thing I learn from Cal Poly was the internet (yes, with a
lowercase "i"; this was in 1992 before the net exploded with the web). I
remembered discovering Usenet and FTP, and ended up killing a lot of time
reading news and grabbing files (which I really didn't use or need) from
all over the place!
I've
always played with computers since I was young. I started with the Atari
2600/Colecovision for games, and moved to Apple ][ and Radio Shack's
"Trash 80" during my Jr. High/High school years. I also had, one time or
another, these systems: Atari 800XL (64K), Commodore 128 (128K), Amiga
1000 (512K), Atari 520ST (512K; monochrome only), 386/25 (8MB), 486 DX2/66
(16MB), Pentium 200MMX (64MB).

the many wedding pictures we took.
For some reason, copy places like Kinko will refuse to make copies of
wedding pictures because they are copyright. Which is kind of strange when
you think about it. I mean, it's not like I'm going to sell copies of my wedding pictures
for a ton of money. Duh...
